We use a number of different indoor net facilities in and around Rugby for our coaching sessions and Holiday Clubs. These include:
The Collingwood Centre (Rugby School), CV22 5DZ
Houlton School Sports Centre, CV23 1ED
Harris Academy Sports Centre, CV22 6BB
Bilton School Sports Centre. CV22 7JT
Where are your Spring/Summer facilities based?
We are based at the excellent facilities at Rugby Cricket Club (CV22 7AU).
What are your provisions for COVID19?
Coaches are regularly LFT tested and there are hand sanitisation stations at all coaching sessions and events with outdoor breaks where appropriate.
If a session or event is cancelled due to a change in COVID19 guidelines will I be refunded?
Yes of course, if we have to postpone a session and cannot reschedule a suitable date for you then we will refund your payment.
Do I need to bring full cricket kit to the Kids Camp events?
No, this is not necessary for our outdoor coaching sessions and holiday clubs as we will have all kit available for use. For indoor Holiday Club sessions we are mostly only able to supply plastic bats/balls etc but not cricket helmets/pads/bats/gloves etc suitable for hardball net practice. You are welcome to provide your own kit for hardball use if you wish.
What clothing is most appropriate?
Depends on whether the activity is indoor or outdoor but basically t-shirt, sweatshirt or track jacket, shorts/tracksuit bottoms/joggers, training shoes. If outdoor session, it is also a good idea to pack a shower jacket, sun hat and sun cream.
Do you provide lunch and refreshments?
No, we do not so you should bring appropriate drinks or drinks bottle/snacks/lunch but drinking water will be available at all sites we use. Please advise our coaching staff if your child has any medical needs requiring, for example, an inhaler.

Can I pay with Childcare Vouchers?
Unfortunately we are not currently set up to accept Childcare Vouchers as payment.
How do I pay?
We use a software app called COACHA to manage all of our bookings and payments – full details as to log in and how to use this to make your payment will be sent with your booking confirmation and with our Welcome Pack. You can keep track of all of your bookings and payments in COACHA.
How do I keep up to date with new coaching programmes, Masterclasses & Camps?
These will be updated here on the RCA website but we also have social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) and regular emails that go out to customers.
What skills do you coach?
We coach all aspects of the game which will include batting, bowling, fielding but we also teach the finer arts of cricket such as throwing, running between wickets, calling, teamplay, decision-making etc.
My child has never played cricket before but would like to get involved?
No problem at all, we welcome complete beginners to our sessions and Camps and all groups are structured by age, size and ability to help all attendees to get the very most from our coaching.
In the Summer months what happens if it rains at a Holiday Camp?
In the cricket season we use the excellent facilities at Rugby Cricket Club for our coaching. In the event of inclement weather there is a large Clubhouse available for us to use with full internet/video playback facilities and we have a range of cricket related activities to keep the kids involved.
Can my child walk or cycle home on his/her own?
We will only permit this if we have written permission in advance from a parent or guardian.
